Companion Agreement

This Companion Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], operating the Compannio platform ("Compannio"), and the individual registering as a Companion ("Companion").
By completing registration and accepting this Agreement, the Companion agrees to comply with its terms.
1. Role of the Companion
The Companion provides permitted companionship services facilitated through the Compannio Platform.
The Companion understands that Compannio's Platform facilitates discovery, booking, communication, payment and related services according to the applicable Compannio model.
The exact legal relationship between Compannio and the Companion shall be as determined under applicable law and the structure adopted by Compannio.
2. Eligibility
The Companion must:
Provide accurate information.
Meet Compannio's minimum eligibility requirements.
Complete required verification.
Maintain valid identification and other required documents.
Provide accurate banking/payment information.
Comply with applicable laws.
3. Verification
Compannio may conduct identity, document, profile and other verification checks.
Compannio may request additional information where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance or operational purposes.
Verification does not constitute a guarantee of a Companion's conduct or future behaviour.
4. Companion Responsibilities
The Companion agrees to:
Arrive at the agreed meeting point on time.
Provide the agreed companionship service professionally and respectfully.
Follow safety guidelines.
Maintain appropriate personal boundaries.
Protect Customer confidentiality.
Not engage in prohibited activities.
Not request unauthorised payments.
Report safety incidents promptly.
5. Transportation
The Companion is responsible for travelling to the agreed meeting point at their own cost.
After the meeting point, where transportation is required for the booking:
the Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation for the Customer and Companion, unless otherwise agreed and authorised by Compannio.
The Companion is not required to use their personal vehicle to transport a Customer.
6. Prohibited Conduct
A Companion must not:
Provide sexual or escort services.
Harass or threaten Customers.
Engage in unwanted physical contact.
Request inappropriate personal or financial information.
Misrepresent qualifications.
Provide unauthorised medical services.
Engage in unlawful activities.
Take Customers off-platform for unauthorised bookings.
Circumvent Compannio's payment system.
Use Customer information for unauthorised purposes.
7. Confidentiality
Companions must keep Customer information confidential and use it only for legitimate purposes related to the booking.
Customer information must not be sold, shared or published without permission or legal authority.
8. Payments
Companions will receive payments or earnings according to the applicable Compannio compensation structure.
Compannio may deduct applicable platform fees, taxes or other lawful deductions where applicable.
Companions are responsible for their own tax obligations unless applicable law provides otherwise.
9. Cancellations
Companions must accept and complete confirmed bookings responsibly.
Repeated cancellations, no-shows or unacceptable conduct may result in suspension or termination.
10. Ratings and Reviews
Customers may provide ratings and reviews.
Companions must not manipulate, threaten or pressure Customers regarding ratings.
11. Safety
Companions must exercise reasonable care during bookings and immediately report serious incidents to Compannio.
In emergencies, appropriate emergency services should be contacted first.
12. Independent Conduct
Nothing in this Agreement should be interpreted as creating a partnership, employment relationship, joint venture or agency relationship except to the extent expressly determined by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
13. Suspension and Termination
Compannio may suspend or terminate a Companion account for:
Safety concerns.
False information.
Fraud.
Repeated cancellations.
Misconduct.
Prohibited activities.
Violation of this Agreement.
Violation of Community & Safety Guidelines.
Other legitimate operational or legal reasons.
14. Personal Data
The Companion agrees that Compannio may process personal information for onboarding, verification, bookings, payments, safety, support and other legitimate purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Intellectual Property
Companions must not copy or misuse Compannio's brand, logo, software, confidential information or proprietary materials.
16. Disputes
Disputes relating to this Agreement shall be handled according to applicable law and Compannio's dispute-resolution procedures.
17. Acceptance
By clicking "I Agree" or otherwise accepting this Agreement, the Companion confirms that:
The information supplied is accurate.
They have read the Agreement.
They agree to comply with Compannio's policies.
They understand the transportation policy.
They understand that prohibited conduct may result in immediate suspension or termination.
