Compannio
Transportation Policy
Effective Date: [DD/MM/YYYY]
Transportation arrangements are an important part of certain Compannio bookings.
1. Companion's Journey to the Meeting Point
The Companion will travel to the agreed meeting point at their own cost and using their own means of transportation.
Compannio does not ordinarily reimburse the Companion for their journey to the agreed meeting point unless expressly stated.
2. Transportation After the Meeting Point
Once the Companion has reached the agreed meeting point:
If transportation is required during the booking, the Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation for both the Customer and the Companion.
This may include:
Auto-rickshaw
Taxi/cab
Public transport
Other lawful transportation options
3. Personal Vehicles
A Companion is not required to use their personal vehicle to transport a Customer.
A Customer must not pressure or require a Companion to use their personal vehicle.
4. Transportation Costs
Transportation costs are separate from the Compannio service fee unless expressly included in the booking price.
The Customer should confirm transportation arrangements before beginning a journey.
5. Safety
Customers and Companions should use lawful and reasonably safe transportation options.
Neither Customer nor Companion should be required to participate in a transportation arrangement that they reasonably believe is unsafe or unlawful.
6. Changes to Transportation
If transportation arrangements change substantially during a booking, the Customer and Companion should communicate the change and, where appropriate, contact Compannio.
7. Clear Customer Notice
Before confirming a booking, Customers will be shown the following notice:
"Your Companion will travel to the agreed meeting point at their own cost. From there onwards, any transportation required during the booking must be arranged and paid for by the Customer for both the Customer and Companion."
By confirming the booking, the Customer acknowledges this policy.
Items shown in square brackets are placeholders to be completed before publication.
